HUMANS

Names:
Pretty much the same as real life.
Description:
The Humans of Varria are the most adaptable of all races. They are capable of almost anything, especially using all kinds of sorcery and magic. Humans are also the only race to crossbreed with other races, creating children that can learn the basics of other races' abilities. However, the universalism also means that they will never refine any skill as truly as other races can.
Gameplay Special:
Humans receive an extra Skill Point. Half-humans lose this, but may add one skill of their other 'half' to their skill list.

AMAEA

Looks:
Amaea are slightly smaller than humans, have similar skin tones and easily recognizable by their pointed ears. Their hair colours vary from blonde and brown to green tones. They are graceful if a little fragile. Their affinity to nature makes some of them have animal parts – the most common are ears
and tails.

Names:
Amaea use soft-sounding names with many vocals. They do not always have last names, but if they do, it usually is a set of two nouns, e.g. "Leafprancer". [Help: Irish names]
Description:
Amaea mainly live in Varria's forests where they have developed a deep connection with their environment. They can form plants to their will and easily befriend wildlife. Some are even said to be able to speak to animals. Their stealthiness and marksmanship is remarkable and unique through all of the land. They are also said to be the most beautiful of all races, and no one has ever objected.
Gameplay Special:
Amaea possess Natural Charm – they are always attractive and people will trust them more easily.

GOLLAP

Looks:
Gollap are usually taller than humans, even though there are some smaller ones. Their most outstanding feature is their stone hard skin. It can have all kinds of colours, ranging from white and black marble to gem tones like emerald and ruby. They do not have any body hair. Their eyes are always black.

Names:
Gollap are not very picky about their names. Often you will find a child named after a type of gem or stone. They don't usually have last names. If there is a double name in the community, Gollap use their colour as distinction, e.g. Onyx the Dark-Brown.
Description:
Gollap live in the small volcanic, rocky areas of Varria, making them the rarest race of all. They live very long and are very resistant to damage. Even though they are a threatening guise, they are calm and wise – but still strong fighters. They also are known for their exceptional anti-magic skills that still have to find their match. They also use no weapons, relying on body strength.
Gameplay Special:
Gollap's Stone Skin makes them naturally resistant to physical damage.

LAC'SQUAMA

Looks:
Lac'Squama share a lot of qualities with saurians. They have lizard-like faces and scales on their bodies, reptilian tails and claws on their hands an feet. They usually gave golden eyes. Their skin can have all shades of green, brown, copper, grey and white.

Names:
Laq'Squama often have sharp-sounding names with little vocals. They also tend to have short names. Last names are, again, double-nouns, e.g. Sharpspear, Sandcrawler. [Help: Native American names]
Description:
Coming from the huge deserts of Varria, the Lac'Squama are the least „human“ of the races. They are warriors through and through, not capable of magic. However, no other race has their mastery of all weapons. They are the best smiths of the land and also the fastest runners. Even though they are from the desert, they can handle all kinds of environments. Their pride is legendary.
Gameplay Special:
Lac'Squama have their Racial Pride, meaning that sometimes their attacks turn out better than their skill level would allow.

SENTHYMA

Looks:
Senthyma are slightly taller than humans but quite thin. Their skin is pale, sometimes even grey or white. They have flat noses and forehead plates. Their eyes can have all colors, just like their hair.

Names:
Senthyma tend to have long, complicated names that other people would shorten. They do not utilise last names since their names are naturally distinct. [Help: Slam your head on the keyboard and insert vocals when necessary]
Description:
Senthyma are a race that lives in the biggest mountain range of Varria. They are the physically weakest race but possess incredible psychic power which they can use to fight but also support allies. They prefer to live isolated, but are always polite towards other races. They are also believed to be the most intelligent race.
Gameplay Special:
Senthyma have Precognition, which sometimes leads to them knowing enemy movements before they occur, making dodging easier. They also may have small indentations of what's going to happen soon.

NAIAS

Looks:
Naias are a little smaller than humans. They have cold, watery skin of various blue, green and grey tones. They have no noses, only nostrils, and big eyes. Their possible hair and eye colours are similar to the skin tones.

Names:
Naias prfer to have soft-sounding names that flow off the tongue. Last names are not used. [Help: African names]
Description:
Naias are are an amphibious race that lives in the swamps of Varria. They can breathe water and air and are also excellent swimmers. They are specialised in water magic (even being able to summon it at will) and the only race that possesses the ability to heal magically. Not all of them are magic, some are also excellent fighters with spears and tridents. Their legerity also makes them good unarmed fighers.
Gameplay Special:
A Naia can breathe underwater and summon water, extracting it from the air.

EXI

Looks:
Exi are the smallest of all races, reaching up to a Human's Chest. They are also the most colorful of all races – there have been Exi with almost any hair- or eyecolour. They use very exotic clothing and hairstyles.

Names:
Exi have short, sharp names and often several (if not very many) first names. Their last names often sound like sounds, e.g. Clink, Fwoosh.
Description:
Exi are the technological race of Verria. They possess magic, but are only to channel it through special weapons they invented. Their arsenal also includes mechanical wings and supportive technologies. Even though they had every reason the be arrogant, Exi are quite friendly and open to other races. They are eager to learn.
Gameplay Special:
Every Exi has a set of mechanical wings that can be used for limited flight and enhanced movement. Can be upgraded over time.
